AWAY DAY
AFTER the postponement of last weekend's Lowland league fixture away to Civil Service Strollers, Gala Fairydean Rovers will be hoping with better fortunes with the weather this Saturday. They travel to play high-flying BSC Glasgow in a league match at Cumbernauld's Broadwood Stadium, kick off 3pm.
Please note this match has been switched from BSC's normal home venue at Alloa. A supporters bus will be running to this match. It departs from the Netherdale clubrooms at 11.45a.m with a pick up at Dobbies at 12.30pm. The cost of the return journey is just £6.
ANCRUM AWAY
GALA Fairydean Rovers Amateurs are also on their travels this Saturday with an away match at Ancrum. The home team are aiming for the Division C title so a tough match is in store for the Amateurs but they will want to finish their season on a high. Kick off at Bridgend Park is 2pm.
2006 SQUAD
Sunday's home game against Musselburgh Windsor was a casualty of the freezing temperatures. This Sunday the under 13s host a glamour friendly against Hibernian at the Netherdale 3G Arena. Kick off 11.30am. The cafe, selling hot refreshments, will be open for this match.
2005 SQUAD
The under 14s travel to play Hutchison Vale in the David Innes Cup on Sunday. Transport times to be confirmed at training.
2004 SQUAD
The under 15s are due to play a Hibs side in a friendly at the 3G Arena on Thursday evening, kick off 6.30pm. On Sunday the team is away to Edinburgh United in the Division Two league Cup.
2003 SQUAD
The under 16s have no scheduled fixture this weekend.
LOTTO
FOR the ninth week in a row there were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw at the weekend. The numbers were 1, 14 and 17. The estimated jackpot this Sunday is £2,000. Tickets are available from the usual town centre outlets or the clubrooms this weekend up until 2pm on Sunday.
