After an excellent 2-1 victory away to EduSport Academy at Annan on Saturday, Gala Fairydean Rovers have no fixture this weekend.
But there are some huge fixtures coming up for the club with games against the top five teams in the league. Table-toppers East Kilbride are the visitors to the Netherdale 3G Arena on Saturday, January 26. That is followed by trips to play Civil Service Strollers(February 2) and BSC Glasgow(February 9). Kelty Hearts will make their first ever appearance at Netherdale on February 16 before GFR head to play Spartans at Ainslie Park on Friday, February 22, kick off 7.45p.m.
DERBY GAME
Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs make the short journey across to the Netherdale back pitches for a league game against Melrose on Sarurday, kick off 2p.m.
2006 SQUAD
The under 13s gave a good account of themselves against first division side Salvesen in the Ken Ritchie Cup at the Netherdale 3G Arena on
Sunday. There was little to choose between the teams for the majority of the game and it was only three late goals which gave the visitors the win. This Sunday the under 13s are away to Leith Athletic Colts in the Challenge Cup.
2005 SQUAD
The under 14s were in goal scoring form against Earlston in the Kenny McLean Cup at the Netherdale 3G Arena on Sunday. This Sunday the team travels to play Dunbar United Colts in the Colin Campbell Sports Cup.
2004 SQUAD
The Under 15s continued their fine run of form with an emphatic 7-1 victory away to Edinburgh City. Despite the strong wind, Gala mastered the conditions with their quick passing game and the goals came courtesy of Tor McGillivray (2), Kerr Johnston (2), Sam McClymont, Ben
Hawkins and Aidan Purves. Next up is a home league game against Dunbar United on Sunday. Kick off is at 11am at the 3G Arena.
2003 SQUAD
The under 16s went down 5-0 at home to Broxburn Diamonds on Sunday. This Sunday they are away to Leith Athletic Colts in a league match.
