DOUBLE HEADER

AFTER a disappointing start to the season results wise, Gala Fairydean Rovers have a crucial double header coming up this week. On Saturday they travel to Peffermill to face Edinburgh University in a Lowland League fixture. Kick off 3pm.

Next Tuesday evening Whitehill Welfare are the visitors to the Netherdale 3G Arena for a league match. K.O is 7.45pm. Premier Club cards apply for this match. Otherwise the admission prices are £6 for adults, £4 concessions and under 16s free if accompanied by an adult.

HOME GAME

GALA Fairydean Rovers entertain Hawick League Rovers in a Border Amateur C Division match at the Netherdale 3G Arena this Saturday, kick off 2pm.

2006 SQUAD

The under 13s playing in their first competitive 11-a-side fixture recorded an impressive 6-4 win away at Musselburgh Windsor on Sunday. Goals from Harris Fairgrieve(2), Frazer Swan(2), Oliver Czerwinski and Reegan Stisi clinched the league victory. The team started well but lost their way and were trailing 3-2 at the interval. However, it was a different story after the break with the boys raising their game and gave a very positive performance. The under 13s are away to Bonnyrigg Rose Whites on Thursday and are on their travels again on Sunday when they face Edinburgh South CFC.

2005 SQUAD

The under 14s drew 3-3 against Lochend in an entertaining match at the 3G Arena on Sunday. Scorers for the home side were Callum Marshall(2) and Russel Kerr. The team is at home to Redhall Star this Sunday. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 11am. The under 14s are away to Kelso on Tuesday evening.

2004 SQUAD

The under 15s earned a point from a 2-2 draw away to Edinburgh United on Sunday. This Sunday the team is at home to Dalkeith Thistle. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 12.30pm.

2003 SQUAD

The under 16s went down heavily against a very impressive Edinburgh City Blacks team at the 3G Arena on Sunday. This Sunday the team is at home to Bathgate Dynamo. Kick off at the 3G Arena is 2pm.

LOTTO

THERE were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw. For the record the numbers were 6, 11 and 20. That means the estimated jackpot next week is £1,400.

BONUS BALL

Tom Cass was the £50 winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition with number 11.

50/50 DRAW

The winner of the Gala Fairydean Rovers 50/50 Half Time Draw at Saturday's gamd versus Tranent Juniors was Mikey Gavana from Oxton who won £58.50.
