AWAY DAY
ANOTHER Borders derby is on the cards for Gala Fairydean Rovers this weekend in the Lowland League. This time Vale of Leithen provide the opposition with a 2pm kick off at Innerleithen's Victoria Park. Please note due to the close proximity, there will be no supporters bus for this match.
LEAGUE GAME
Gala Fairydean Rovers Amateurs are also on their travels this Saturday. They are away to Berwick Colts in a Border Amateur C Division fixture, kick off 2pm.
HALF TIME DRAW
The winner of the £58 prize for the 50/50 Half Time draw at Saturday’s Lowland League match was Roy, c/o The Clovenfords Hotel.
LOTTO
There were no winning tickets in the Gala Fairydean Rovers Lotto draw on Sunday. The numbers were 3, 13 and 15.
That means the rollover estimated jackpot this weekend is £1800.
BONUS BALL
No-one had number 50 in the weekly Gala Fairydean Rovers Bonus Ball competition. There will be a rollover £50 prize this weekend.
JOHN IRVING
There was a minute's applause held before the kick off at Saturday's game between Gala Fairydean Rovers and Selkirk in tribute of life member John Irving who served the club in various capacities over 50 years and sadly passed away recently.
2005 SQUAD
There was a thrilling finale to the under 13s league match against Lasswade Thistle Reds at the 3G Arena on Sunday. A goal from Harry Fowler looked to have been enough for the home side but Lasswade struck twice in the final five minutes. However, GFR had the last word with a last gasp equaliser by Ritchie Mitchell.
This Sunday Redhall Star YFC are the visitors to the 3G Arena, kick off 11am.
2004 SQUAD
Sunday's game at Dunbar was called off due to a frozen pitch. This Sunday the under 14s host AC Oxgangs in a league match.
Kick off at the 3G Arena will be 12.30p.m.
2003 SQUAD
The under 15s recorded a 5-1 victory over Musselburgh Young Stars at the 3G Arena on Sunday. The GFR scorers were Sam Derrick(3) and
Dylan Curran(2).
This Sunday they travel to play Kirkliston South Queensferry. Transport times to be confirmed at training.
2002 SQUAD
Sunday's match against Oxgangs was postponed as the Netherdale back pitches were frozen. This Sunday the under 16s are away to Edinburgh City. Transport times to be confirmed at training.
